EXCELLENT Based on 168 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor NinaVerified Beach excursion The friendly driver took us to three different locations. The first stop at Kourtaliotiko had probably the most impressive scenery although the area itself is not that big with many visitors at the same time. The Preveli beach was overcrowded and a long walk down and up numerous stairs. The last stop at Kalypso beach was very nice although also overcrowded with no availability to put down a towel or reserve a sunbed. It is a lot of driving and not more than 45 minutes to max an hour stop at the various locations if you consider the hike down and up. I would recommend booking an excursion that offers to take the the group to Preveli beach with the boat from Damnoni back and forth, at least during the hotter part of the season.Posted on Tripadvisor Malky21Verified Would thoroughly recommend We had a wonderful day on this tour. The soap makers were so informative and passionate about their craft. The shop is beautiful with very affordable quality products. The olive tasting and tour was very informative and the olive oil delicious The vineyard and wine tasting was just perfect. It was so good to meet the man and his family who make the wine with such dedication. They were a delight to meet. Finally lunch in a small village was a feast and was accompanied by more wine ! It was a lovely opportunity to get to meet our fellow travellers. Finally our driver was both well informed and very funny, All round great valuePosted on Tripadvisor Tabitha AVerified Wonderful time It was a great time learning more about Crete!Posted on Tripadvisor Ciprian CVerified Very nice tour where we discovered Cretan villages Beautiful memories from CretePosted on Tripadvisor Claudia NVerified Pleasant day Aggeliki was a delightful guide/driver, and we very much enjoyed the first of the two wineries. It has a beautiful hilltop setting, and the family operating the winery makes guests welcome with great wine and fresh farmers cheeses. The second winery was having an open house, so was quite crowded (big party atmosphere, blaring music) and no tour was possible. But it was interesting to taste the differences between wines made from the same grapes as those used at winery #1. The taverna lunch involved a lot of food and was tasty. All in all it was a great day, and nice to get out of Heraklion and see some of the countryside.Posted on Tripadvisor RuthVerified Leo is the champion I had a great time on this tour. The tour leaders/drivers were fantastic. The locations were great, and it was really interesting to see the processes that these businesses use. But out of all that, my favourite had to be Leo, the wine maker, and his awesome collection on display in his wineryPosted on Tripadvisor Clive CVerified Wonderful Tour We had a wonderful day with Tony, who was the perfect guide. He was very informative and we learned a lot about Creatan life and he was more than willing to answer any questions. The content of the tour was great. We learned a lot about all the processes involved in making soap, olive oil and wine. Last port of call was a village taverna for lunch, Tzatziki ,Greek salad , grilled meat and fries, followed by cake. With a glass of wine and a toast of Raki to finish. We would definitely recommend this tour. Clive & Dot U.K.Posted on Tripadvisor Rickeeta wVerified 10/10 Recommend this tour! Yannis was great. This experience was the absolute highlight of our time in Crete! Yannis is a phenomenal guide—so knowledgeable and charismatic, he really made the history of the island come alive for us. The olive oil tasting felt incredibly authentic, and the owner’s hospitality was just fabulous. To top it off, the wine tasting was everything! Yannis’s energy and expertise truly made the day unforgettable. If you want to see the full vibe, check out the reel on my trav3lislife TikTok. Do not miss this tour!
