Our Story — Born and Raised in Crete
LocalTrips4U began with a simple idea: the best way to discover Crete is through the people who call it home.
Meet Yanni and Aggeliki, the brother-and-sister team behind LocalTrips4U. Born and raised on the island, they grew up surrounded by the traditions, flavors, stories, and landscapes that make Crete so distinctive.
After studying abroad in the United States and Switzerland, they brought an international perspective back to their home island, together with a shared passion for introducing visitors to authentic Cretan life.
Their vision was never simply to take travelers from one attraction to another. It was to create experiences where guests could meet local people, discover family traditions, learn about Crete’s history, and feel genuinely welcomed.
What started in 2019 continues today through carefully selected experiences that celebrate Crete’s rich past and vibrant present.
